The Sigma cross cutter for wet hardboard plants has an extremely light crosscutter carriage, which is connected to the wet lap conveyor drive to ensure optimum synchronization.

EXCHANGE OF WET LAP DRIVES FOR IMPROVED CONTROL
Wet lap conveyors are used in wet hardboard plants for transporting the wet laps from the wet forming machine to the mating station for depositing the wet laps on cauls or wire screens for frame feeding systems.
Exchanging the drives for these conveyors will improve positioning of the wet laps as well as consistency in wet lap length.
