PLATE AND SCREEN WASHING

Clean transport screens and plates are important features in maintaining both capacity and board quality. Sigma has developed and introduced a new method of cleaning both screens and plates simultaneously using high-pressure water-jets. The washing unit can be installed online, or outside the plate circulating system.

The new cleaning system eliminates the need to use chemical agents, cuts manpower requirements, reduces the amount of second-grade board produced and increases press capacity.
